Tech Support
An in-site support ticket inbox — accept, triage, note, resolve, and archive requests without leaving the admin.
What it does
Tech Support runs the whole ticket lifecycle. Visitors (or you) submit a ticket through a widget; it lands in the inbox with categories and assigned agents; you triage, add notes, and resolve; resolved tickets archive on demand.
Getting started
- Open Tech Support to see the ticket dashboard.
- Click a ticket for its detail view: description, categories, assigned agents, notes, status.
- Use Update Status to move it along (open → in progress → resolved), adding notes as you go.
- Mark Resolved, and bulk-archive resolved tickets periodically to keep the inbox clean.
Inbox & archive
Active tickets live in the inbox; resolved ones move to a fully searchable archive. Nothing is truly deleted unless you use permanent-delete — prefer soft delete unless you’re clearing test data.
Triage & linking
Every new ticket gets a triage agent plus category specialists from the Agent Library to help categorize and propose next steps. When you open a ticket, the system surfaces similar past tickets, and you can link related tickets together.
Tips
Bulk archive only touches resolved tickets — safe to run anytime. If the dashboard looks stale, run Rebuild Index to rescan the inbox.
