Audience Builder

Capture leads from CTA forms on any base site and forward them up to the hub for CRM-style follow-up.

What It Does

Audience Builder is the node side of a hub/node lead system. Base sites build and publish CTA forms; submissions land locally, then get forwarded to the Pinnacle hub’s AudienceCollector. You get a dashboard with lead counts, a sent queue with retry, and CSV/markdown exports for offline use.

Getting Started

  1. Open Audience Builder from the admin menu.
  2. Click New Form and define the fields you want (name, email, phone, custom selects, etc.).
  3. Style the form, set a submit action, and save.
  4. Copy the form’s shortcode and paste it into any page where you want the CTA.
  5. Watch the Leads tab for submissions. They forward to the hub automatically.

Form Builder

Every form is configurable: field list, field types, required flags, form title, and submit copy. Save as many forms as you need — a “Join the List” on the homepage, a “Book a Call” on the services page, a venue RSVP elsewhere. Each has its own shortcode and its own lead stream.

Lead Dashboard & Export

The Leads tab shows everything you’ve captured locally with filter, search, and detail view. Export to CSV for spreadsheet work or Markdown for pasting into docs. Per-lead print view prints a clean form for physical records.

Hub Forwarding & Retry

Submissions auto-forward to the Pinnacle hub’s AudienceCollector as soon as they arrive. The Sent Queue tab tracks every forward. If one fails (network hiccup, hub down), use Retry to Hub to resend. Flushing the sent queue clears the log without touching the leads themselves.

Gotchas / Tips

  • Base sites run AudienceBuilder; the Pinnacle hub runs AudienceCollector. Don’t try to install Collector on a base site.
  • Leads are stored locally first, then forwarded — you won’t lose data if the hub is briefly unreachable.
  • Check the sent queue periodically for failed forwards — retry them, don’t let them stack.
  • Each form has its own shortcode. Changing a form doesn’t change already-embedded forms’ shortcodes.
  • Connector ports let you wire leads to external tools (Mailgun, GHL) — configure under the connector settings.
